WHO ARE BOXED DRINKS & WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
Boxed Drinks Limited is a small, independent company specialising in mobile bars and coffee bars for private events, weddings and festivals.
We are located in Nottingham, ideally placed to cover East Midlands and can travel further afield such as West Midlands, East of England and Yorkshire. As part of our hire packages we cover a radius of up to 60 miles from Boxed Drinks HQ in central Nottingham NG2
We will travel further afield at an extra cost. Outside the 60 miles radius the charge is 50p per mile plus a travel time hourly rate of £50 per hour over our usual travel time of 1hr 15mins.
HOW BIG IS THE BOX & HOW IS IT POWERED?
The BOX is approximately 5.72M in length with the rear ramp down / 2.25M wide /2.6m high. Access space will be required to get The BOX into the desired location at your event. Fields and soft ground isn't really an issue as the tow car is a 4x4, but if it's a totally water logged mud bath we would need to find a new area to set up for the event.
The BOX will require a 240v power hook up at site ( we have plenty of extension cable ) OR we can use our very smart generator with is classed as a ‘silent’ generator. Obviously its not silent but its one of the better ones and has reasonably low noise levels. We have long extension leads so this shouldn't be an issue. If the coffee machine is on we would also use gas to power the coffee machine.
WHAT DRINKS DOES THE BOX SERVE?
Our BOX can either take on a drink theme e.g 'The Prosecco Box' or we can operate as a bar serving a selection of drinks.

HOW MUCH ARE THE DRINKS?
Bottled beers: £3.50 - £4.
Red / White Wine: £4 - £7 per glass / £12 - £25 per bottle.
Prosecco: £4 - £6 per glass
Spirits: from £3.50.
Bottled Ciders: £4 - £6.
Cocktails: from £7 per glass.
Coffees: from £2 - £3.20
Tea: £2.
A range of soft drinks are also stocked at competitive prices.
DO WE NEED A PREMISES LICENCE FOR THE BOX TO SERVE ALCOHOL?
This depends on your venue. If it's at a venue which already serves alcohol it should have a premises licence in place. If the event location doesn't have a licence such as a farmers field, then we will need to apply for a TEN's (Temporary Events Notice).
TENs must be submitted at least 28 days before your event. A TEN application will be applied for by Boxed Drinks Limited on your behalf, but we must have the permission of the owner of the venue site for the application to take place.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes, Boxed Drinks Limited has full Public Liability Insurance. Oh, and we also have a food hygiene rating of 5.
DO WE TAKE CARD PAYMENTS?
Yes, we have chip and pin facilities in the BOX and both vans, meaning you can pay with ease using most major cards.
LITTLE RED COFFEE VAN
Do I drive it?:
Yes! Little Red is totally road worthy and driven to events 90% of the time. As its close to 50 yrs old and with a 600cc engine ( with approximately 18bhp!) travel is of course a slow state of affairs!
How big is Little Red?:
3805mm Long / 1500mm Wide / 1850mm High.
How is Little Red powered?:
2 large batteries, an inverter and a small gas tank power the vans coffee set up to provide around 6hrs of trading time. This means we can go anywhere such as a field with no access to power. We can also use a 240v hook up if available.
Do you need water?:
Two water tanks are onboard so we can be self sufficient for a long time.
BIG GREEN COFFEE TRUCK
What is Big Green? :
A 1985 Land Rover 90 pickup.
How big is it?:
3860mm Long ? 1790mm Wide / 1980mm High.
What does it serve?:
Big Green is set up as a coffee truck OR can be flipped into a gin truck!
How is Big Green powered?:
The same way as Little Red, 2 x large batteries, an inverter and gas. Totally self sufficient OR can plug into a 240v source.
